The 70’s are back with Jill Stuart Spring/Summer 2016 collection with high-waists and bell-bottoms that are to die for. The designer has traveled back in time with a range of simple suits and bohemian dresses. Stuart chose the soft texture of silk, leather, floral dresses and crop tops like high-rise satin silhouette that lightly spotlight your hips or a truly miniature ruffled bandeau. The designer also feautured natural healthy hues like blush, pale pink or shades that feel warm and comforting, while eveningwear features finer fabrics decorated with embroideries and subtle metallic shimmer.
The collection emphasized texture, like a shimmery, ankle-length floral dress with a cropped sheer sweater layered on top, shiny materials, perfect pastels, and crop tops. The collection featured arrange of accessories from strappy sandals to thin leather belts. That’s the best way to explain what Jill Stuart’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection looked like on the runway at Industria Studios in New York City.
