“Prada Raw” is a new eyewear collection that was released this summer. This collection has a very unique concept that contemporary design and new materials- black walnut and Malabar ebony- can merge together to illustrate art and nature in one collection.
Prada’s avant-garde designs using this beautifully made woods have formed a new design prospective in fashion. The natural imperfections of the wood’s veining turn each pair of eyeglasses into a one of a kind creation, which requires the utmost expression of masterly craftsmanship.
The iconic Minimal-Baroque model is now presented in a new wooden version, yet staying true to its original distinctive design and completing the “Prada Raw” special collection Prada’s Spring/Summer 2015 eyewear collection is now exclusively available to you in Prada boutiques.
The boutiques will feature a customized window display - created by the designer Martino Gamper – with an evolutionary design and a special arrangement dedicated to the new glasses.
“Prada Raw” online avenue offers a fun way to explore the collection through an animated illustration. The illustrations feature the fashion and artwork in captivating animations. “Prada Raw” launched a virtual runway using graphic designs by six artists to illustrate their new “Prada Raw” sunglass collection, unifying a collaborative digital platform and a brilliant sequence of creations from a group of diverse illustrators to powerful ends.
