The runway is a facade for designers to stage their vision, the strictly choreographed back-and-forth of models shinning a never-ending flow of clothes.
CHRISTIAN SIRIANO SS15 AD CAMPAIGN: AN ICY COOL TAKE ON SPRING

Spring collections are expected to contain friendly florals and playful, evocative colors. Christian Siriano, however, has a different idea about how to usher in the warm weather. His Spring/Summer ad campaign features elegant pieces in Icy blues and stark, crisp whites, set in front of a very ice-palace-esque backdrop. But his inspiration wasn’t the winter chill like you might be thinking.
The prolific designer looked to the toweringly beautiful glass sculptures of Sergio Redegalli, seeking to imbue his line with a similarly ‘light, clean, and crisp’ aesthetic. Siriano was captivated by the play between the shimmering sculptures and the mirror-like quality of the water below, seeking to replicate that stark contrast in the sharpness of his pieces.
The collection is intensely feminine, and it looks stunning on bleach-blonde models Bree Smith and Ragnhild Jevne. I can’t help but get a Frozen-meets-Manhattan-chic vibe from the campaign, and I mean that in the best way possible. Rocking any of these pieces on a sweltering mid-August night would certainly keep the lucky wearer fashionable frigid. Check out the icy-cool campaign images above.
