"REALLY, REALLY, RIDICULOUSLY GOOD LOOKING PEOPLE"
Name: Samar Sajjad
Profession: Manager at Bite | Promotion of local artists and musicians
Origin: India. Unfortunately I can’t dance or handle spicy food. However I think I’m fairly good with numbers so there you go, I fit the bill for at least one stereotype.
Your passions:
Love, music, art, people, traveling, learning, and …well those are pretty generic! I guess I’m just searching for my personal legend.
Best trait about yourself:
If I want something, I know how to make it happen. Also I’m a great actor, as in I can change my act depending on the situation and i know how to keep a secret.
First Thing in the morning:
I make coffee and sleepily check my emails. Then I pray to God that everything goes smoothly at work which mostly goes un-answered.
Mealtime ritual:
I watch the Daily Show while having dinner. Its sad that I only find Jon Stewart and correspondents as the only reliable source of news information- damn you CNN and Fox News!
Dream date:
For that I would need a time machine since I would love to take Drew Barrymore out right after she did the film " Poison ivy". I would have gotten chairs and arranged them by the Brooklyn Promenade, and had Frank Sinatra playing in the background.
Favorite designer:
I love supporting local innovative designers. I’ve recently become an admirer of Bobby Pin jewelry. But my guilty pleasures are Hugo Boss and Armani.
Favorite musician:
House of Waters. In case you haven’t heard them you should, they’re very spiritual and moving.
Things you always carrying when you hangout:
Cellphone, chap-stick, and a map of my way home.
The most memorable and precious item you have:
My favorite artist gifted me a painting by her on my birthday.
The best way to spend the weekend:
The perfect weekend for me would be on the mountains on Saturday and at the beach on Sunday.
The best way to relieve the stress:
I hang out with my best friend “JOHN JAMESON” and in case he fails, I like to punch the wall.
Your idealistic future life:
A cabin all to myself in Alaska with cable TV, internet, and frozen elk steak obviously.
Role model:
Paulo Coelho and Jon Stewart
