Stella McCartney honored with Women’s Leadership Award

Designer Stella McCartney was honored at the Lincoln Center, in New York, with a Women’s Leadership Award event. McCartney was presented with the award for her social responsibility and philanthropy, which marks the third time the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund has honored the fashion designer. Paul McCartney, Kate Upton, Natalia Vodianova, Drew Barrymore, Yoko Ono and Chelsea Handler were a few of the stars that attended.
The night proceeded with Jerry Seinfeld in a “humorous” conversation with McCartney. He made jokes about runway stigma and other referenced related to fashion. The entertainment portion of the night ended with Dhani Harrison, son of former Beatles member George Harrison, performing Wings’ “Live and Let Die” alongside the SugarTones and students from Juilliard.
The event raised over $1.6 million
