STACY MARTIN BECOMES MIU MIU’S FRAGRANCE MUSE

Miuccia Prada has finally deemed it appropriate for her highly regarded Miu Miu brand to produce a fragrance. The extravagant designer is known for eschewing convention and challenging accepted norms, and she seeks to continue this trend with the new addition. In a move that underscores these core competencies, Prada has chosen actress Stacy Martin to become the face of the product.
Martin is known for her disarming, hypnotic screen presence and her controversial roles including the 2014 lead in Lars Von Trier’s infamous Nymphomaniac. Her collaboration with Miu Miu is a match made in heaven considering that both entities appreciate breaking down boundaries and testing limits.
The above image was captured by legendary lensman Steven Meisel for the Miu Miu 2014 fall/winter campaign, and showcases Martin’s effortless beauty and the practiced poignancy of her subtle expressions. Expect similarly powerful images when the photog. meets once again with this captivating subject for the fragrance’s campaign images.
