Rihanna x Balmain

Rihanna has landed a contract with one of the world’s most famous fashion houses, Balmain, for their SS '14 ad campaign.
It is rumored that Balmain’s Creative Director, 27-year-old Olivier Rousteing, has included Rihanna in his inner circle and the two have been seen posing together numerous times on social media. Rihanna is also regularly spotted wearing his designs, influencing her music fans and imbedding Balmain deeper into todays culture.
Balmain has been around for almost 70 years, and is known for elegant lines and super feminine silhouettes. Their clothes have been described as ”urban fabulous” and there is something truly unique about the brand that seems to unceasingly grab everyone’s attention. The way the clean lines are juxtaposed against complicated patterns and details make the designs stand out and provide an edge that is important to stay prominent in today’s vying fashion reality.
The amazing photos were shot by the legendary Dutch photographer duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
