The runway is a facade for designers to stage their vision, the strictly choreographed back-and-forth of models shinning a never-ending flow of clothes.
RALPH LAUREN X ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS

On May 21st ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS was treated with a glimpse of RALPH LAUREN’s Spring 2014 collection. When asked why use ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS for the location of the show, RALPH LAUREN replied by stating that it embodied the inspiration for his collection, which was born out of what he called: “the bold spirit and playfulness of swinging London in the late Sixties."
Complimented by the live music of Zeno and the Stoics, a local Madrid-based band, the show took place in Studio Two and hosted a small viewing comprised of guests like English models Amber LeBon and Tallulah Harlech. RALPH LUAREN’s 2014 Spring Collection offers a modern take on The Beatle’s renowned Abbey Road album, reflecting their stylistic interpretation of the original picture, Lennon to Harrison, from left to right.
The models’ contemporary, monochromatic apparel accentuated the versatility of the 2014 Spring Collection in stylistic measure, as it ranged from geometric to floral patterns. The monochromatic black and white scheme allows for each garment to be employed effortlessly between outfits, a RALPH LAUREN specialty continuous in his collections.
