The runway is a facade for designers to stage their vision, the strictly choreographed back-and-forth of models shinning a never-ending flow of clothes.

The collaborative design effort with graphic designer and artist, Vahram Muratyan, highlights Prada 2012 spring/summer men’s and women’s accessories on unisex t-shirts.
Prada Parallel Universes is an exercise that grows out of the drive to experiment with, and to match, new communications media and Prada’s semiotics; to be consistent with the present without nostalgia.
The inspiration for the t-shirts comes from the Muratyan’s newly published book, Paris vs New York, a work of art which compares the two great cities with graphic signs exploring their different similarities.
The same concept can be seen in Prada’s upcoming collection dedicated to accessories. These t-shirts will be available in Prada stores from mid-July 2012.
