Miu Miu "SUNSET TO SUNRISE" Croisere2017 CAMPAIGN

Miu Miu has just released the Croisiere 2017 Campaign for their new collection, captured by fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan.
The ancient Roman road, Appa Antica, forms the captivating stage, as actress and supermodel Dree Hemingway leads her cast of Cecilia Chancellor, Birgit Kos, Faretta Radic, and Sara Somogyi on a spontaneous stroll through the historic Italian city. These companions set the twists and turns of the new assortment into a striking, but easy-going photoshoot. Shot in a movie-like style, the cast walk through the night and into the day, not noticing that any time has passed. They tread along with facial expressions of eagerness, uncertainty, and excitement, motivated to see what the next sunset to sunrise will bring.
Perfectly in the Miu Miu attitude, the characters show their feminine side and love for fashion, while remaining carefree and confident on their journey together. Walking in archaic footsteps, their vibrant attire interestingly contrasts with the road’s antique cobblestone. The collection is comprised of many metallic fabrics and vivid colors. Light-pink satin dresses, wide-leg trousers, swirling sequins and embroidery, and fantastical cosmic prints made unforgettable statements, finished off by large, buckled bags. The dynamic atmosphere is further emphasized by silver glitter, paired with mismatched ribbons– the sense of playfulness and fun is always nearby.
