The runway is a facade for designers to stage their vision, the strictly choreographed back-and-forth of models shinning a never-ending flow of clothes.

The young pop icon does not rest for a second, and she seems more present than ever. Despite any recent controversy involving the 21-year-old, it was just revealed that she is the new face for the Marc Jacobs SS 2014 advertising campaign.
The ad features Miley sitting on a beach with two other girls in the shot, one lying dead-like by her side, and the other standing in the back with the wind blowing her blonde locks slightly forward. Because of the ominous skies circling the ocean behind them, the ad gives us a feeling of psychedelic misfortune, but it definitely works for mood of the clothing by Marc Jacobs.
It is no secret that Marc Jacobs is quite smitten with Miley Cyrus, and the feelings have numerous times been proven to be mutual. Miley often is spotted in his designs, including a custom made Marc Jacobs to last year’s Met Ball, as well as the Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars, where Jacobs was presented with an award.
"I work a lot with Marc Jacobs. He kind of brought me into fashion, like, when I was 16. That was when I started being around him and just learning from him," the former child star says in an interview to HungerTV.
The campaign was shot by the very talented photographer David Sims, and styled by Katie Grand, editor-in-chief of LOVE Magazine. LOVE’s latest issue actually features Cyrus on the cover with a red mohawk.
Miley is definitely making it in the fashion world as being a part of the pulsing industry, and there are without a doubt great things to come for the child star turned fashion icon and rebellious inspiration to millions.
