MADONNA FOR VERSACE SS15

Madonna proves that she’s still at the top of her game; the enduring pop icon has been chosen to front Versace’s spring/summer 2015 ad campaign. The two cultural behemoths -- both symbols of power and feminine strength -- have collaborated numerous times in years past: twice in 1995 and once more in 2005.
Donatella Versace voiced her excitement about the reunion saying, “Madonna is one of the true icons of Versace. I am thrilled to have my friend and the most powerful and directional artist as the face of Versace for Spring 2015.”
Shot by fashion photographers extraordinaire Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the black and white photos show off choice pieces of Versace’s SS15 collection while emphasizing Madge’s seemingly age-defying physique.
2015 is slated to be a huge year for the spry 56 year-old superstar. She’s currently hard at work in the studio with producer Diplo cooking up tracks for her next album, while simultaneously gearing up for a massive world tour.
Given her status as fashion royalty and that her previous 5 albums consecutively debuted at No. 1, we’re sure that Madge will have a killer year.
