SUBURBIA
The sweetness of springtime–- full of youth and naive energy–- is captured frame by frame in Suburbia. Dressed from head to toe in Jill Stuart, she is the playful girl who lives across the street, freshly awakened from some long and dreamy nap. She peers with doe-like eyes from behind her golden, braided strands of hair, twisting gently in a mild breeze. Sheer polka dots layered over horizontal stripes are the clothing of her carefree afternoon. With each moment, she communicates a mischievous kind of innocence, be it basking in the sun or posing daintily on a pair of skates. As the day unfolds before her, she sets off with an arsenal of playthings. On a pink scooter, she gazes against the pale sunshine, a striped dress lightly grazing her bobby socks. Pulling along her reluctant puppy, she strides across the grass in a frothy watercolor gown. Blue lollipops and yellow flowers saturate this hazy daydream as she sets off on a curious jaunt in Suburbia.
