Ready or not, summer is almost over, which means holiday shopping is looming. Dive in with decadent designs from Dior and Dior Homme, who recently released their Holiday 2013 gift collections. Accessories for women include classic handbags in black, white and festive silver, as well as bright pops of color; unique pearl accentuated accessories; and funky footwear to match and mix to your delight. Highly-coveted handbags come in assorted fabrics, like tweed accented with sequins, snake-printed pied de poule, quilted lambskin, and shiny and soft calfskin. Statement pieces, such as colorful cuff bracelets and collar necklaces, complement more subtle accessories, including “tribal” stud earrings and charm pendants and rings. Shoes and sunglass frames range from audacious to modest, and a glamorous coffee table book encompasses everything in between.
Dior Homme, the menswear collection, offers a darker yet polished palette of pieces to enhance a man’s wardrobe. Winter wear includes cable knit sweaters and sophisticated coats, while stylish jeans and button-downs, as well as formal and casual shoes are ideal for seasons to come. Accessories include leather travel bags and wallets, silver jewelry and black-framed eyewear.
