The runway is a facade for designers to stage their vision, the strictly choreographed back-and-forth of models shinning a never-ending flow of clothes.
FENDI FUN LAUNCHES AT HARRODS
Italian fashion house FENDI brings amusement to HARRODS with its new amazing pop-up shop, FENDI FUN. The iconic department store will house the arcade-inspired shop from June 3rd- June 28th, 2014. During this time, customers will be able to snag an assortment of ready-to-wear, fur, and accessories. These gems are enclosed in animated vending machines allowing buyers to relive their childhood experiences. But the fun doesn’t end here. Flashing neon lights illuminate the shop and mechanical claws dropping to grab the furry “Bag Bugs” are only a few of the enticing elements of the FENDI FUN experience.
“Fendi Fun is a fantastic example of how to engage and delight clients in an interactive space, bringing the brand to life,” said Helen David, fashion director at Harrods, London.
In conjunction with FENDI FUN, FENDI is also launching its newest purse, the BY THE WAY. Its contemporary design is simply elegant making it easy to transition from day to night. The BY THE WAY can be worn several ways: as a clutch, over the shoulder, across the body or simply held from the handles. The handbag can be seen rolling across the shooting gallery or from the rotating arcade machines.
Another classic FENDI bag, the PEEKABOO, will be recreated in HARRODS’ green in crocodile for the pop-up shop.
FENDI FUN treats the public with one-of-a-kind treasures that embody amusement. Don’t miss the chance to be part of the fun. Head over to the pop-up shop to grab your favorite FENDI bundle of joy.
