Fashion Favorites from the Emmys

No, nothing exciting happened at the Emmy's. So don't ask. But there were a handful of standout performances in the fashion department. Here are our favorite looks from the 64th Primtime Emmy Awards. Next year we vote for HBO not only to host the after-party but the awards as well so Christina Hendricks can wear transluscent neoprene on cable.
According to the acceptance speech given by Homeland's Damien Lewis, we are in a new golden age of television. This golden age may have been the inspiration behind the plethora of highlighter yellow on the Emmy red carpet. Julianne Moore emerged as champion of the yellow set in a Christian Dior gown with standout construction from Raf Simons' inaugural haute couture collection.
Amanda Peet went for a minimalist look in a custom Calvin Klein Chantilly lace slip dress. The delicate lace gives Peet that pretty-in-pink appeal. She countered the soft blush gown with hardware accessoriesing with oversized diamonds earrings and and a chainlink bracelet.
This Lead Actress in a Drama nominee took a risk with a print. Elisabeth Moss' choice holds a dark Italian drama native to Dolce & Gabbanna. The asymmetrical hem bares leg we're sure never to see on Mad Men. This is a fashion risk Penny would applaud!
Keith Urban looked comfortable among stars of his new medium, television. The latest appointed Idol judge wore Prada to accompany Nicole Kidman who scored her first Emmy nomination for her work in the TV movie Hemingway & Gellhorn. Her white and blue beaded dress sparkled with the nightclub attitude native to Antonio Berardi.
