Fall into the holidays with Gucci

Italian fashion brand, Gucci makes falling look like an art with their latest short film. The one-minute picture embodied a whimsical story about finding the perfect gift, even in the most unexpected moments.
The film shows a women picking up a towering stack of packages, and falls as she walks away. Gucci products are flying out of gift packages into the air, magically twirling in slow motion. One box stays unopened and falls in front of the women, as she goes to open it the film ends. The non-clichéd holiday campaign and clever tag line make for a captivating Gucci promotion.
Gucci distributed the film in an email to its newsletter subscribers, with the subject line “Presenting Gucci Holiday 2014: Fall Into the Festive Season.” The Italian brand followed up the original email four days later with another message featuring its holiday gift guides.
The song playing in the commercial is “Dancing Anymore” by British electronic trio Is Tropical.
