NOSTALGIA
A series of video portrait is inspired by Dior Homme, which is produced by MARIA CABRA.
Featuring 8 crying male models, JAMES LABORNE, REID ROHLING, JULLIEN HERRERA, VLADIMIR IVANOV, NICOLA WINCENC, IAN SHERIDAN, HARRY PULLEY and CHRIS DAVIS to convey a silhouette about the unresolvable disengagement between where we are and where we long to be.
The rough urban background, angular figures, aggressive posturing, gloomy hues and dismal atmosphere show a story that we can’t fully understand a man without looking through his vulnerable eyes and come closer to his face.
The hopeless and romantic both are the essences of nostalgia, which is not only bittersweet but also devoured the mind in a desperate way.
