Skinny, slouchy, or flared, a nice pair of denim jeans is a must in any fashionista’s wardrobe. To make them really stand out, this season’s trend to follow is not about the styles, but the colorfully stitched details. Yes, embroidered jeans are officially part of the denim conversation.

Launching in August, Citizens of Humanity introduces new embroidered styles to the Holiday collection. So there is the embroidered Madera blossom which opens up beautifully on the low-rise Emerson slim boyfriend ankle jeans. Then there’s the Cherry blossom in pacific blue intricately stitched to the whickering and grinding Emerson style with a standard five pockets. Now let’s pay more attention to the Chinese-inspired dragons! There’s a white dragon taking over the white denim jeans, while a navy dragon soaring around the black one, both featuring slim feminine leg that falls to just above the ankle with fraying along the cuffs, and a straightforward, no-nonsense look.
