NEVER TALK WITH STRANGERS

Inspired by the Russian masterpiece of literature, The Master and Margarita, this editorial, much like the novel, focuses on dark magic with a dark sense of humor. The story is centered on a visit from the devil in disguise as he gets a little too close to the beautiful “Margarita” and eventually turns her into a witch. Our model Nastya Zhidkikh considers this to be one of her favorite novels so she had no trouble at all getting into character and portraying “Margarita's” transformation. The model was dressed in edgy Christian Siriano pieces including intricate patterns and mesh suits. Nastya and photographer Keiichiro Nakajima brought the story to life as an editorialized version of the tale. The dynamic dark shots and eerie concern in the model's expressions and gestures make this editorial all the more impactful. Enjoy the images and remember, don't talk to strangers!
