THE TRIOMPHE CANVAS
Unveiling the new line of Triomphe Canvas luggage, handbags, and small accessories, CELINE has just added a new classic to their Haute Maroquinerie selection. Hedi Slimane created the Triomphe Canvas pattern out of the house of CELINE’s historic monogram that was first used in 1972 – a link motif inspired by the chain encircling a symbolic icon of Paris, the Arc de Triomphe. The non-gender specific designs reflect Slimane’s signature aesthetic and the material is a natural cotton weave that has been embossed with the monogram pattern in black and ocher hues. The timeless designs are finished with the finest vegetal leather in natural tan or black and expertly saddle stitched together. A few pieces like the 'Vertical Cabas' are stamped with the brand's accent-less logo in a clean white print. The range extends beyond handbags and luggage as it also includes home goods, travel kits, and small leather goods. You can find the stunning Triomphe Canvas Collection available in stores and on celine.com starting in September 2019.
