THE STREETERS #80
The streets of New York are a jungle of eclectic personalities and style connoisseurs. There's perhaps no time of day where this is more evident than at night, when city dwellers swap out their office attire for club-ready gear and bold fashion statements. These young party-goers revel in the chance to show off their meticulously planned wares, with their head-to-toe looks often a high-low mix of the latest designer duds to the trendy yet affordable options. Some commonalities include the mixing of maximalist prints, all-black looks in nylon and leather, and feminine touches of ruffles and organza. Though the skies are pitch black, many opt to wander about in edgy sunglasses that evoke a glam early '00s mood. Flashy handbags, the ultimate status symbols, are carried aplenty. And of course, none of these looks are complete without the palpable confidence and strong sense of identity the wearers parlay into these clothes.
