The blazing summer heat has finally come to visit New York City and the last thing you want to do is wear something uncomfortable or heavy. There are actually tons of ensembles that will keep you cool in the warmer months (i.e., NOW) while staying stylish at the same time. While we were hunting around SOHO a week ago, several off-duty models captured our eyes as they effortlessly nailed summer style.

In a hot summer day, you really want a little something that’s one and done, something that works as a dress that keeps you cool but is a bit more unexpected. Our clever fashion girl, Gizele Oliveira, knows exactly what it is: a romper. So she slips in this airy orange romper with a plunging neckline, matching a pair of black pointed-toe suede ankle boots with a black wide brim fedora hat, and she finished up the look with a simple lariat necklace that has a dangling metal pendant drop, plus her golden framed sunglasses. Last step, grabbing the Louis Vuitton mini backpack with the signature Monogram canvas, this girl is ready to stand out of the crowd as a trendsetter in the city, without worrying too much about the summer heat!

Going white in the summer is anything but radical. But Head-to-toe white is the secret trick to be a street style star. Here we got Veranika Antsipava, a model as well, in an all-white ensemble to show you how to make this monochromatic outfit a winning look! She balanced out a simple white blouse with a white ripped jeans and a pair of white sneakers. Noticed that the stripes on the sneakers are in different colors, purple for the right foot and green for the left, which add a little fun to the look. I bet you spotted the gorgeous Chanel quilted leather backpack. The silver tone CC turnlock closure on the front flap and the interwoven chain matches the color of the little cross necklace she is wearing perfectly. At the same time, intentionally or not, the gold mirrored sunglasses matches her hair color beautifully! So the main take away from this fashionista’s all-in-white looks is to keep it simple, wear white in different textures, and add a little bit color to accent the style!
