THE STREETERS #71

Everything is not always black and white when it comes to fashion. Dressing in monochromatic colors brought a powerful statement at New York’s Fashion Week that made looking chic easy.

Joe Zee, former creative director of ELLE, decked out on the darker end of the spectrum. He wore a navy blue trench coat to match his denim jeans, along with a darker blue sweater underneath. As an undershirt, he chose white to complement the color scheme, finishing off with black dress shoes. His color pickings mesh well together, giving off a sophisticated look without much thought.

Similarly, IMG model, Martha Hunt, followed him to the dark side. Her outfit consisted of all black attire, including a trench coat and trendy cropped pants. A matching pocketbook adds to the look, as the slight metallic in her heels adds some texture. The black truly contrasts against her fair skin, blonde hair, and bright blue eyes well – making her outfit stand out even more. Wearing all black will always be a fashionable trend, without any difficulty to conquer.

On the other hand, a lighter approach was done by the founder of Buro 24/7, Miroslava Duma. She chose to wear white from head to toe, from her cozy turtleneck and sneakers to elegant coat and wool pants. This comfortable style appears effortless, making one color look more refined than ever. Pairing the outfit with a gold bracelet and tan bag only enhances the neutral appearance and angelic glow to make anyone purely noticeable.

Coordinating a single-color ensemble may be simple, but it can leave a huge impact on your audience. No matter what the occasion is, you can look clean and proper by emulating the rest of these looks here!
