THE STREETERS #56

It’s summertime in New York City and trying to keep oneself stylish in high temperatures and humidity is a tough game. Layering is still the best option for those who have to deal with sudden temperature changes – i.e., when you have go from the sweaty streets to a freezing office. Light garments and solid colors, such as blue, black, and white, are still the favorite choices among the fashionistas in the city.

Overalls, vests, lace dresses, and off-the-shoulder blouses bring that 70’s hippie vibe back - a good reminder of how fresh summertime can and should be.

Muse model Kayla Rebentisch broke up her all black look with a red turban headband, while blogger and model Ester Shenkman mixed fringes, polka dots, a night dress, an oversized blazer, and heavy sandals creating a perfectly unexpected combination.

Lena Lomako, model at One Management, went basic yet super elegant with one of the trendiest pieces of the season - the denim dress. Menswear buyer Eduard Sanchis decided to layer it up by using his sweater as a vest, the result was both clever and stylish.

Layering is definitely the best way to protect yourself from varying temperature changes. And don't forget that lightweight and breathable fabrics are your best friends during this season. Comfort is the ultimate key to keep you stylish for summer.
