Your passions:
Of course music. I also love reading books, especially something that gives me an insight into our lives, such as books written by Honore de Balzac, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Theodor W. Adorno.
Best trait about yourself:
I think I am patient and fairly amicable person. I try to stay curious about as many things as possible too.
First Thing in the morning:
Go to a cafe to have a cup of coffee and read some books. I have been trying to read at least one essay from "Minima Moralia" by Theodor Adorno every morning to wake my brain up.
Mealtime ritual:
Nothing special, but I like to try new cuisines and new restaurants. I love wine and like to try new drinks too.
Dream date:
I don't like crowded places, especially when I want to spend a nice time with my favorite girl. I like to go to a relatively quiet beach or a mountain. I miss going to Onsen (hot spring) in Japan too, especially during the winter in NYC.
Favorite designer:
Probably Dries van Noten. I tend to like things from Prada and Acne too.
Favorite musician:
Thom Yorke. I think I listen to Radiohead the most. There's so many other musicians I like, but I also love Frederic Chopin — especially his Nocturnes.
Things you always carrying when you hangout:
iPhone. Recently I overuse it...
The memorable and precious item you have:
I cannot think anything in particular... Though, I try to keep all the letters or postcards I receive.
The best way to spend weekend:
Go to a cafe and a park. Then have a nice dinner with my favorite friends.
Your idealistic future life:
I would like to keep doing what I am interested in. I would also like to travel frequently and meet new people and experience new cultures.
Role model:
There is nobody in particular. However, I respect musician such as John Lennon, Thom York and Serge Gainsbourg. From Japan, I really like Sakamoto Ryoma. I believe Japan would have been a much better and more peaceful country if he hadn't been killed.
