ET VOILA! The signature red sole was born.
Over the years, CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN has been made a name for himself as the signature red sole, a symbol of feminine and elegant spirit of the brand, which was inspired by his assistant’s red nail polish when he designed “Pensée” shoes prototype in 1992.
And now, he is bringing it back!
“The red sole was born from red nail polish. I am giving back to nails what the shoe took from the nails many years ago.” Christian said. His main idea is not only to provide beauty products, but also try to gain unprecedented attention by going beyond the packaging, formula and colors design. Creating a true “objets d’art”.
Christian’s objective is to create the “key red”, a timeless shade, vibrant on any skin tone: The signature Rouge Louboutin.
Following the signature Rouge Louboutin, there are also 30 additional colors are grouped in 3 families of 10: The Pops, The Noirs and The Nudes, which are inspired by Louboutin iconic shoes.
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN’s fashion legend is born from a nail color, and the story will continue with the new products launch which connect with its beginning Muse.
