TWELV DIARY #12: BRITT LINN
MODEL: BRITT LINN
AGENCY: RED NYC Models
PLAYBOY'S 2014 MISS MARCH IS BRITT LINN...
Where are you from and what is your name:
My name is Britt Linn and I'm from a small town in north Jersey.
How were you scouted to model:
I was scouted online and eventually came to NYC to meet with everyone at my agency.
Which agencies are you associated with:
Red Model Management NYC
What are the challenges you have experienced during your modeling career:
I had never ridden the subway or spent much time in NYC before signing, so that took some time to figure out!
What do you love about the industry:
I love all of the creative minds that collaborate to create beautiful fashion and images: everyone is so unique!
Favorite designer:
Nicholas K. - stunning!
What would you tell anyone who want to discover modeling…advice to break it in the industry:
I would say stay true to yourself! There is only one you and no one can duplicate that- own it!
Who is your role model:
My brother- he is the kindest soul I know.
Personal style:
My style is pretty eclectic- I love everything from tribal patterns and earth tones to combat boots and leather-mixing patterns and feeling comfy is the usual.
Currently coveting:
A getaway in the mountains! I was born in a very small town so I crave the scenery and smell of the woods this time of year.
Upcoming projects:
I'm really excited to be shooting for Italian Vogue this week and I just wrapped up a cover shoot for Chaos a few days ago!
Workout regimen:
I wish I could say I consistently work out. I try to squeeze in yoga and a run a few times a week, but mostly I hop off the subway early and make sure I walk alot.
How do you balance everything:
I honestly just take life as it comes and remind myself that all of the hardwork I do today will pay off tomorrow.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
I see myself still modeling, having a cozy apartment in manhattan, and going as far as I possibly can!
What is something you are unable to live without:
Icecream.
What is something everyone does not know about you:
In second grade I was on an elementary wrestling team: I made boys cry.
MANY THANKS TO BRITT LINN
