ALMOST FAMOUS #6: SKINGRAFT

Do you ever longingly gaze out the window and daydream, while lost in your own little perfect world? Have you ever acted upon those dreams and shaped them into reality? Jonny Cota, the designer for SKINGRAFT, did exactly that. Los Angeles is home to SKINGRAFT’S successful flagship store. The designer’s dream to open a store in NYC has become another dream come true. Located at 7 Prince Street, in SoHo, their presence in NYC has been a happening spot, since opening just over a year ago. As a recent guest at the NYC SKINGRAFT’S event, I was definitely in the right place at the right time. I witnessed firsthand one of the best known facts about SKINGRAFT, that every new collection adds expansion and variety, as the entire SKINGRAFT collection gets bigger and bigger! With tremendous excitement, I literally got to “rock-out” a few new pieces from the music-inspired designer. Jonny Cota continues to work with other artists to bring the fashion world more vibe with every piece in this inspiring, creative collection. Emerging with each new season, this is a designer that has stayed authentic to the brand since it’s beginning. Now let’s all put on one of those, statement piece, leather jackets and make those dreams come to life!
